1. No Internet Permission & 100% Local Operations

The My1drive mobile application does NOT request or include the android.permission.INTERNET permission in its AndroidManifest.xml. The mobile app operates entirely offline on your physical device.

Your photos, videos, audio recordings, documents, and personal files are processed strictly locally. They are never uploaded, backed up to external cloud services, transmitted, or monitored by us or any third party.

2. Android Manifest Permissions Used

To fulfill its core functions—selecting, previewing, backing up, and archiving media files to connected external USB drives (via android.hardware.usb.host)—the application utilizes the following specific permissions:

• Media Permissions (Android 13+ / API 33+): READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, READ_MEDIA_AUDIO, and READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED (Partial access permission allowing you to grant access only to selected photos and videos).
• Legacy Storage Access (Android 12 and lower): READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (maxSdkVersion 32) and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (maxSdkVersion 29) to read and save files to user-authorized local storage.
• Foreground Data Synchronization: FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC. Used by the app's ArchiveService to perform uninterrupted local file copying, archiving, and USB transfer operations without being terminated by the system during long backup operations.

Usage Guarantee: All listed permissions are executed 100% locally on your device for user-initiated file management tasks.

3. Zero Third-Party Analytics, Ads, or Trackers

• No Analytics or Crash Reporting SDKs: The mobile app contains no third-party analytics libraries (such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AppMetrica, Sentry, or Google Analytics). 0% data is tracked or collected.
• No Advertising: The application is 100% ad-free. No advertising frameworks (such as Google AdMob or Yandex Ads) are included.
• No Registration or Account Required: You can use all core features of the mobile application anonymously without creating an account, logging in, or providing any personal identifiers.

4. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The mobile application offers an optional one-time in-app purchase for lifetime PRO access using Google Play's official Billing Library (com.android.billingclient:billing-ktx).

All financial purchase transactions are processed directly and securely by Google Play. The My1drive application does not collect, access, store, or process your payment details, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all file data and application database caches exist strictly on your local device or connected USB drive:

• We hold no remote database or server records of your personal files or media content.
• Uninstalling the My1drive application or clearing its local storage permanently removes all application cache and local data from your device.

6. Website Contact Form

If you voluntarily fill out the feedback form on our website (my1drive.com), we collect only the contact information you provide (such as your name, phone number, or email address) solely to respond to your support or sales inquiries. Web contact data is never sold or shared with third parties.

7. Children's Privacy

Our application and services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in applicable jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
